Learn how easy it is to make a button at the Hunterdon County Library. We have two sizes of button makers.

The North County Branch Library Makerspace has a 2.25" round button maker
Start by designing your button graphic making sure to use the suggest sizes on the American Button Machine template. This can be done in the graphics software or app of your choice. We use Canva.com a lot at the library because it's free and browser based but any graphics program can be used. Print out your design and cut it out along the outside circle of the button size of your choice:
Follow the instructions below from American Button Machines to use the button maker. Be careful that there is just one shell in the machine at a time. They like to stick together. More than one usually jams the machine.

Button making materials are available as a set that includes the shell, mylar and pinback.
