The Museum Pass program is a service provided by the Hunterdon County Library System, funded in part by the Friends of the Hunterdon County Library (FoHCL), that enables library patrons to visit several museums across the region. It’s a great way for friends and families residing in Hunterdon to enjoy education, cultural enrichment, and fun. All HCLS resident cardholders, in good standing, are eligible to check out a museum pass. There is no charge to reserve a museum pass.
The box below is our new reservation system. Browse the institutions, and click on the museum icon to display details, location, categories, and pass benefits. Click “Reserve a Pass” to start the process.
Some institutions accept digital and/or printable tickets. This detail is noted in the Pass Benefits section. Institutions that do not accept eTickets will have a physical pass stored at North County Branch Library (65 Halstead Street in Clinton). Those passes may be picked up after 2pm on the day prior to day of use and must be dropped off at NCB by 11am on the 2nd day after use. (If you use a pass on Monday, it should be returned to NCB by 11am Wednesday.) If the library is open, it would be appreciated if the passes could be returned to a staff member directly. When the library is closed, please feel free to return passes via the book drop at NCB.
Most institutions require timed entry reservations. Use the library website to place your museum pass reservation, and then follow the instructions in the confirmation email to place the timed entry reservations.
Physical passes returned late will accrue a fine of $10/day. Lost passes will result in a $25 replacement fee applied to the library account used to place the reservation. Failure to pick up reserved passes will result in loss of Museum Pass privileges. To see the full policy, click here.

Please note: Grounds for Sculpture is no longer offering library memberships
We would love to provide access to this wonderful regional experience, but we cannot facilitate
that without the cooperation of the institution. We appreciate your understanding.
