Book Sale Committee: Responsible for our largest fundraiser held each spring. It establishes procedures for the book sale and revises and refines them. Committee members help set up; participate at book drives; sort and price books; help on sale weekend; and clean up after the sale.

“Books for the College Bound” Scholarship Committee: Awards scholarships for college textbooks to graduating seniors from Hunterdon County high schools.

Affiliated Library Liaison Committee: Determines the needs and concerns of the county’s seven affiliated community libraries and communicates them to the Friends’ Executive Board.

Landscape Committee: Consults with the library and the county on the design and expansion of the Friendship Gardens of Hunterdon County Library and North County Branch Library. It also sees to the maintenance of the gardens.

Membership Committee: Responsible for the annual membership renewals and activities to increase our membership. It also maintains our membership list and provides the data to support Friends’ projects.

Outreach Committee: Transports books and other items between the library and the homebound. Program Committee: Provides interesting programs for the Friends’ General Meetings and Special Events.

Publicity Committee: Promotes Friends’ events and projects and publishes our newsletter three times a year. This includes folding, labeling and preparing the newsletter for mailing. The committee also may represent the Friends at community and outside organization events.
