New Jersey Makers Day

Saturday, March 28th, 2026 

New Jersey Makers Day celebrates the inventor, maker, creator, artist, tinkerer in all of us! It's an annual statewide event held at over 250 libraries, museums, schools, makerspaces and businesses across New Jersey.  The Hunterdon County Library hosts interactive projects at the Headquarters and North County Branch Libraries on Saturday, March 28th. Clubs, small businesses and individuals are invited to exhibit and teach what they like to make! It will be our 12th year of holding New Jersey Makers Day. We welcome our fantastic community of creative individuals, clubs, school groups and small businesses to share what you make at New Jersey Makers day!  Here are some guidelines for the day.  Any questions can be sent to Sandy at sjanosik@hclibrary.us.

• Each exhibitor is required to have an interactive project. New Jersey Makers Day is about being creative, tinkering and learning through trial and error. Having hands-on projects keeps us true to the mission of the day. They can be digital or community projects as well.  
• New Jersey Makers Day is open to the public Saturday March 22th, 2025 at the Headquarters and North County branches (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.) Both branches close promptly at 5pm. 
• Promoting your club for new members and flyers about your business are welcome but sales are not allowed.
• All projects are subject to approval by the library. 
• Exhibitors can choose to attend for a full day or half day at one (or more) of our two branch locations. We ask all full day exhibitors to be set up and ready to begin by 10 a.m.  Half day exhibitors should be set up and ready to begin at 10 a.m. (morning) or 1 p.m. (afternoon).  
• The library provides banquet sized tables and chairs and access to an electric outlet if needed.
