Hunterdon County Library is currently accepting used book donations at the Circulation Desks of the Headquarters location and North County Branch libraries. South County Branch cannot accept donations due to space limitations. Please donate one box or bag at a time. The Hunterdon County Library will accept donations from individuals, groups, associations, corporations, etc., under the following conditions:
1. The library reserves the right to determine the disposition of the item(s) donated, including adding such items to the collection, or disposition by sale or destruction.
2. Items that are to be considered for inclusion in the library’s collection are subject to the same criteria as are the materials considered for purchase by the library.
3. The library will not attest as to the value of donated items; however, an acknowledgment of the donation will be provided if requested.
4. Many items donated to the library are provided for the Friends of the Hunterdon County Library. FOHCL accepts book donations year-round and features a large-scale Book Sale each spring.

The organizations listed here accept donations on a rotating basis. It is imperative to call ahead to ensure that they are accepting donations, what types of items they are accepting, and to schedule your delivery if necessary.
