PAGE TO STAGE
During this virtual theatre workshop presented by Cincinnati based theater educator Erin Carr, teens will create original scenes based on familiar book series and develop our own versions of beloved fictional characters! We will go through improvisational exercises that provide tools for creating original work as an ensemble. By acting out scenes from "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" and "Peter and the Starcatcher" we will learn the framework used for adaptations and take this to create our own scenes using newly gained playwriting and performance skills. Come with an open mind, paper/pen, and love of teen fantasy! Register at bit.ly/pagetostagehcl.
SPRING STEM
Two STEM projects for Spring! Make blooming flowers that will bloom right before your eyes to reveal a surprise. Also make your own parachute toy! We provide you with a variety of materials to design your parachute your way. Will it drift slowly to the ground? Experiment with a design that works! For Grades K-2. Register on our Events Calendar and sign up for the day and time you would like to pick up your kit (May 17-19).
