The Hunterdon County Library is a designated service center for the NJ State Library Talking Book & Braille Center (TBBC). Their services are available to anyone whose ability to read may be affected by a physical impairment, a reading disability, or a vision impairment. Anyone who has difficulty reading standard print or holding a book or turning the pages of a book may be eligible for the TBBC's services.

  • Library of Congress Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) site. Please apply HERE if you are interested in free down-loads of audiobooks.

Eligible individuals can apply to use the NJ State Library’s TBBC services at the library, or print out and mail in the state’s application. Your physician will have to certify that you are eligible for the service.
